Contributor Guidelines

InSight Out is a faith-based media platform that explores news, culture, and everyday life through a biblical lens. Our mission is to help people see clearly, think biblically, and live faithfully.

 

We’re looking for writers who:

 

• Share meaningful, truth-rooted stories

• Offer thoughtful commentary on culture and current events

• Report on real issues with purpose and perspective

• Bring biblical insight to everyday conversations

 

You don’t need a title. Just a heart that loves the Lord, a mind shaped by truth, and the courage to speak with conviction.

 

Submission Timeline

 

We accept submissions on a rolling basis. Please allow 1–3 weeks for review. If we don’t respond this round, you’re welcome to submit again in the future.

 

Submission Guidelines

 

• Word count: 400–1000 words

• Tone: Clear, bold, reflective, or informative—not fluffy or preachy

• Perspective should reflect a biblical worldview, but doesn’t need to teach a lesson or include a devotional takeaway. It may simply shine light on an issue or invite thoughtful engagement.

 

Accepted formats:

 

• First-person essays

• Devotionals

• Cultural reflections

• News features or commentary

• Reported interviews or profiles

 

Include Scripture references (with translation) where appropriate.

What We Don’t Accept

• Promotional content or book excerpts

• AI-generated articles (editing assistance is fine)

• Submissions from agents or representatives

• Anonymous authors

• Political rants or reactionary hot takes

Faith & Public Life – How faith intersects with politics, education, liberty, and civic engagement

News Features & Commentary – Timely, worldview-driven reporting or analysis

Worldview in Practice – How truth shapes ethics, decisions, and culture

Cultural Clarity – Breaking down trends, movements, or generational shifts

Devotionals with Weight – Scripture-rooted, personally honest, spiritually rich

Hard Topics, Real Hope – Grief, injustice, burnout, identity, doubt—handled with biblical truth

Everyday Faith – Living with purpose, calling, and integrity in real life

 

If your piece helps someone see the world as it is and live as they ought, it probably belongs here.
